A Seaventy, a company specialising in the organisation of nautical events, was founded in 2014, born from a passion for the sea, which our founder Bernardo inherited from his father.

We have as mission to bring people closer to the sea and make every event, on the largest boats on the Tagus River, a unique and memorable experience.

We are your guide, helping to choose the ideal boat and Organise yours successful event, with all the Professionalism e transparency.

A fun fact: The name Seaventy has a history. All attempts to find the ideal name revolved around the words “Sea”, “Ventures”, “Adventure”, “Ocean”, “Blue”… And, in a moment of pure inspiration, the question arose: “What about Seaventy?” Sea Sea with Seventy de Seaventy tribute to the fact that 70% of our body and our planet are composed of water?”

Bernardo Castro

Co-founder, Owner and Managing Director of Seaventy

A family man (if he didn't have 8 children with our Rita, of whom we shall speak shortly), of passions and convictions. Our leader, who is eternally passionate about the sea and life, says that if he were a boat, he would be a racing yacht, this because in his words “alone he is nothing, but with the right team he arrives first. Without fear of external conditions, facing all kinds of unpleasantness until reaching the final objective”.

Rita Castro

Co-founder, Owner and Manager of Seaventy

She is the company's financial manager (and hauls her husband and our Skipper Bernardo ashore when necessary). Order and organisation are fundamental to her sanity. She is guided by integrity, commitment and loyalty. Rita is a natural caregiver, a devoted wife and a loving mother; she also enjoys looking after and pampering her team. A woman of many talents and eight children, she is a master of surprises and loves a good, thrilling sailing trip.

Rui Costa

Sales Manager

Our Rui has been working at Seaventy since 2016. It's him you'll be speaking to, and he will present you with the best solution for your successful event. For Rui, every detail counts, and therefore, he and his team will ensure that everything is in accordance with the plan, so you can enjoy the incredible experience of holding an event on a boat and create memories with your guests. A fun fact: when he was 17, he participated in a youth television series. The crowning glory of this fun fact: the series was called “Os Amigos do Tejo”!

Cristina Mladinoi

Operations Manager

Ever since she was little, our Cristina has always enjoyed exploring and discovering. One of her grandfathers even nicknamed her “Cristovão” (like Columbus) due to her constant eureka moments and incredible discoveries. One of her favourite quotes is from Maya Angelou: “it takes courage to be kind”. For Cristina, this quote is a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion and resilience in our daily lives.

Celia Machado

Communications Manager

She joined Seaventy in 2018 to be the guide on regular tours. With the pandemic, she moved from tours to events as the Operations Manager, where she experienced many happy times. Currently, all communication goes through her. Whether written, spoken, or sung (yes, our Célia sings), for Célia the message must be conveyed with truth and emotion. She says her mission is to make others feel good, and her favourite word is “sharing”.

João Maia e Moura

Strategy and Development Manager

João is our chameleon (he's held various roles within the company), and he currently ensures that the team and Seaventy have everything they need, both immediately and for the future. A quote that inspires him: ”First choose who you're going with, and only then choose where!” For João, the most important thing is the people around him, the friends who support and help him grow. With them, you can go anywhere.
